How to dig up the backyard
Digging up the backyard will yield special rewards including treats, game cash, pickaxes and more.
You will require 2 things to commence digging up the backyard;
1 x Pickaxe (available from the General Store)
Once you have the required items, click the Pickaxe in your inventory (shown at the bottom of the kennels screen) and select one of your hounds to do the digging.
Note: Hounds with better reflexes will find more game cash. Hounds with better focus stats will lose less ground stability as they dig (so they can dig for longer without the ground collapsing.
As you dig, the ground stability meter will drop. If the ground collapses entirely, any rewards you have found during the dig will be lost! So make sure you click “STOP” to end the dig before your tunnel collapses.
Buying (or finding) improved pickaxes from the General Store increases your mining level when used. Better mining level will also decrease the stability loss as you dig deeper into the round.
